HISTORY

The Bacardi Cocktail is a Daiquiri made with Bacardi rum and coloured with a dash of grenadine. The Bacardi company promoted it in the 1920s and successfully argued in a New York court that only Bacardi rum could legally be used under the name. It is one of the clearest examples of a brand shaping cocktail history.
