HISTORY

The Missionary’s Downfall is a Don the Beachcomber drink from the late 1930s. White rum, peach brandy, pineapple, lime, honey and a handful of mint are blended with crushed ice into a frothy, mint-green sour. Its risqué name was typical of tiki menus, and the drink remains a favourite of the revival.
