HISTORY

The Fog Cutter is Trader Vic’s most famous multi-spirit tiki drink after the Mai Tai. Rum, brandy and gin are shaken with lemon, orange and orgeat, then topped with a float of cream sherry. The 1947 Bartender’s Guide gives the canonical recipe, though several bars claim an earlier version.
