HISTORY

The Blue Hawaii was created in 1961 by Harry Yee at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Rum, pineapple juice, blue curaçao and coconut cream make a sweet, vividly blue drink. It was part of the post-war Hawaiian tourism boom and became a shorthand for tropical kitsch.
