HISTORY

The Casino is a gin sour with maraschino, lemon and orange bitters, recorded in the Savoy Cocktail Book. Its name evokes the gambling rooms of the interwar years, but nothing certain is known about who created it. The drink is a good example of the Savoy’s house style: precise, aromatic and built around a single spirit.
