HISTORY

Julio Bermejo created Tommy’s Margarita at his family’s San Francisco restaurant in 1990, replacing orange liqueur with agave syrup. The result is a purer, more agave-forward drink that became a modern classic and a template for tequila sours. It is now served in bars far beyond California.
