HISTORY

The Paloma is Mexico’s most popular tequila drink, made with grapefruit soda, lime and a salt rim. It appears in Mexican bartending sources in the 1950s and is often attributed to Don Javier Delgado Corona of La Capilla in Tequila, Jalisco. It is simpler and more refreshing than the Margarita.
