HISTORY

The Corn ’n’ Oil is a Caribbean rum highball built on falernum, a spiced sugar-and-lime syrup. Its name is often traced to a missionary rhyme, and its exact birthplace is disputed between Bermuda and Barbados. Dark rum, falernum, lime and Angostura make a drink that is sweet, tart and heavily spiced.
