HISTORY

The Aperol Spritz is a Veneto spritz made with Aperol, prosecco and soda. The spritz itself grew out of the Austrian habit of adding water to Venetian wine in the nineteenth century; Aperol was created in 1919 and became the modern serve’s defining ingredient after the Second World War. It is now one of the world’s most popular aperitifs.
