HISTORY

Audrey Saunders created the Old Cuban in 2001 at Pegu Club in New York. Aged rum, lime, sugar and mint are shaken and topped with champagne, producing a drink that is both a Mojito and a French 75. It became a modern classic and a fixture of champagne-cocktail menus.
