HISTORY

Dick Bradsell created the Espresso Martini in London in 1983, according to his own account, for a customer who asked for something to wake her up and get her drunk. Vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso and sugar are shaken hard to create a thick crema. It became a global modern classic in the 2010s.
