HISTORY

The B-52 is a layered shot of coffee liqueur, Irish cream and orange liqueur, popular in the 1970s and 1980s. Calgary bartender Peter Fich is often credited, but the claim is disputed. The drink is named after the B-52 bomber and is usually set alight before drinking, though the flame is optional.
