HISTORY

James Pimm created his gin-based house cup in the 1840s at his oyster bar in London. It became a bottled product and a fixture of English summer drinking, especially at Wimbledon and Henley. The modern serve lengthens it with lemonade and piles in cucumber, strawberry and mint.
