HISTORY

Milk punch was a fashionable English drink by the late seventeenth century, made by curdling milk with spirit and citrus, then straining the clear whey. The result is soft, spirit-forward and unexpectedly refreshing. It fell out of fashion in the nineteenth century and was revived by modern bartenders as a showcase for clarification.
