Bronx
Gin, dry and sweet vermouth and orange juice: the Martini’s citrus cousin.
1900sHistorical classicResearched
The Bronx was created at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria in the early 1900s, most often credited to bartender Johnnie Solon. Gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth and orange juice make a drink that sits between a Martini and a sour. It was one of the most popular cocktails in America before Prohibition.
